Webcare supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance account security for staff members. MFA adds an additional layer of protection by requiring a time-based verification code generated through the Webcare Mobile App’s built-in authenticator.
Once the MFA module is enabled for a staff member, the login workflow will proceed as follows:
MFA Enabled in Staff Settings
Two-Factor Authentication must first be enabled in the Login Settings for staff members who require MFA access.Username Entry
When accessing the website, the user will first be prompted to enter their username on the sign-in page.Account Verification
The system verifies that the account is active and not locked.6-Digit Authentication Code
If the account is valid, the user will be prompted to enter a 6-digit verification code.Code Generation via Mobile App
The staff member generates the 6-digit code using the built-in authenticator within the Webcare Mobile App.Password Entry
Once the verification code is successfully validated, the system will prompt the user to enter their password to complete the login process.
