Making a Placement in Supported Employment.
To add a new vacancy in your Supported Employment Software, you need to go to Employers on the menu bar and select View all employers from the drop-down menu.
Select the employer from the employers list.
Select the Vacancies tab.
Click on the Blue icon next to the position you are wanting to make a placement on.
The Make Placement box will open. Select the client from the drop-down menu, then select the staff name who is making the placement. Next add the date and any notes you require.
Click on the green Make Placement button when you have entered the required information.
This will move the employment position from the Vacancies tab, to the Placements tab.
The Placement will also show on your clients profile page, under the Employment History tab.
You can select the Placements tab and see the position is now listed.
The red icon next to the placement gives you the option for the position to be: Filled, Vacant or Dropped:
For example - in the screenshot below, Aroha was offered a new position, so the one she held is now vacant ready for a new placement.
Dropping this placement with the status of Vacancy, will put this position back into the Vacancies tab.
If you select Dropped, it will stay in the placements list with a tick next to the Dropped box.
You can easily reactivate this position by clicking on the red icon again and changing the status to Vacancy.
The Filled status will show when the position is filled.
You can also see the status of the position when you enter the clients profile and see the placement under their Employment History.
