Before you start it is important to have listed Webcare as a Trusted Website and Intranet site on your browser to ensure you have access to all features. - Add webcare as a trusted site.
- It is also important to ensure you do not have Webcare listed in your compatibility view settings. (this is Step 3 on the Add Webcare as a trusted site page)
- We recommend using Internet Explorer
for your browser when using Webcare as some of the features works better in Internet Explorer e.g. It will bring up calendars when filling in dates in a clients form and will bring up editor when using text boxes in forms. - When editing anything in the Webcare Tabs, ALWAYS ensure you click on the SAVE button if there is one on the screen you are working on. If you do not, the information you have updated will not be saved.
- It is advisable, to change your password regularly for security reasons. How do I change my password?
- It may be helpful to save your password when you log in. This means every time you log in, it signs you in automatically (so you don't have to keep remembering your password). This is also useful for many of the other features, such as exporting documents and editing word documents within Webcare.
- How do I quickly search for a client/staff? - In the client or staff list, press the control or <Ctrl> and the F button
on your computer. This will bring a search box. Type the Client or Staff name and press enter. - You can edit Microsoft documents within Webcare (without having to delete it and upload a new document) - How do I edit documents within Webcare?
