Notify Staff, is to let a staff member know details or information about a Progress Note.
If you select a Progress Note from the list below the Notify Staff button, you will see the button becomes active. This means you can send a notification.
From the Client Dashboard:
You can select a Progress Note from the Dashboard, selecting a Progress Note, will allow the Notify Staff button to become active.
From the Goals & Outcomes Module:
You can select a Progress Note from the Progress Notes tab, selecting a Progress Note, will allow the Notify Staff button to become active.
Select a progress note and click Notify Staff.
The Notify Staff text box will open with the information about the progress note already added.
You can add the details of the notification in the textbox. This textbox supports advanced editing, so you can highlight, underline, or add links etc.
Then Select the staff member/members you want to notify.
You can see below we have highlighted the details and selected Kate Martha for the notification to be sent to. Click Send Notification.
On the Progress Note list, there will now be a notification icon, next to the progress note to show a notification has been sent.
If Kate Martha has the Webcare App, she will get a notification on her phone.
Clicking on the notification will take you to the Notifications page in the Webcare App (after logging in):
You can click the green Marked as Read button to send a response.
The response will show on the My Communication page here:
The notification will also show in Staff - Kate Martha's Profile - My Communications page.
This will always list the notifications, whether your organisation uses the Webcare Staff App or not.
