Resetting Your Webcare Password
If you have forgotten your Webcare password, you can reset it from the Webcare sign-in page.
The reset process uses a verification code sent to your registered email address. If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled for your account, you will also be asked to verify your identity using your authenticator.
Step 1 — Select “Forgot password?”
On the Webcare sign-in page, select Forgot password?
Step 2 — Enter your username
Enter the username associated with your Webcare account.
Select Continue.
For security reasons, Webcare may not confirm whether a particular username or email address exists.
Step 3 — Check your email for the verification code
Webcare will send a 6-digit Password Reset Code to the email address registered with your account.
The email will look similar to this:
The email contains a six-digit verification code.
The code is valid for 10 minutes.
If you did not request a password reset, no changes will be made to your account. If you are concerned, please contact your administrator.
Step 4 — Enter the email verification code
Return to Webcare and enter the 6-digit code from the email.
Select Continue.
If the code has expired, request a new password reset code and try again.
You can also select Back to sign in if you no longer want to reset your password.
If Two-Factor Authentication is NOT enabled
If your account does not use two-factor authentication, Webcare will take you directly to the Create New Password screen after your email code has been verified.
Continue to Step 6 — Create your new password below.
If Two-Factor Authentication IS enabled
If two-factor authentication is enabled for your Webcare account, an additional verification step will appear after the email verification code has been accepted.
Step 5 — Verify using your authenticator
Open the authenticator associated with your Webcare account.
You can use:
- Webcare Authenticator in the Webcare mobile app
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Google Authenticator
Enter the current 6-digit authentication code.

The screen will display:
Open Authenticator in Webcare app or use Microsoft or Google Authenticator, and enter the 6-digit code.
The code shown in your authenticator changes regularly, so make sure you enter the current code.
After the code is successfully verified, you can create your new password.
Step 6 — Create your new password
Enter your new password and confirm it.
Your password must:
- contain a minimum of 8 characters
- contain at least 1 uppercase letter (A–Z)
- contain at least 1 number (0–9)
- contain at least 1 special character, such as
! ? $ # * _ + - %
Select Reset Password.
Step 7 — Sign in with your new password
After your password has been successfully changed, return to the Webcare sign-in page.
Enter your username and your new password.
If two-factor authentication is required for your account, you may also be asked to complete your normal 2FA verification.
If you cannot complete the password reset
Contact your Webcare administrator if:
- you do not receive the password reset email
- you no longer have access to your registered email address
- you cannot access your registered authenticator
- your authenticator has been lost, replaced or removed
- your account has been disabled or administratively locked
For security reasons, your administrator may need to verify your identity before changing your account or two-factor authentication settings.
