Managing your Provider Contracts in the Days Away Register (Oranga Tamariki)
To add a Provider Contract to the Oranga Tamariki Days Away Register. First click the link on the home page of Webcare - Days Away Register (Oranga Tamariki).
The Days Away Register page will open. Click on the Provider Contract tab.
1 - Manage Contracts - This is where you add the Contract number and Funding Type Oranga Tamariki provides you.
2 - + Add - Clicking Add will bring up a data entry box to add in a new Contract Service.
3 - Edit - Allows you to Edit an existing Contract Service.
Manage Contracts
When you click on Manage Contracts, a list of contracts will pop up with the option to Add, Edit, Restore and Delete.
To Add a contract, click + Add.
The Funding Provider will always be Oranga Tamariki and the Funding Type at this stage, will always be Care Staff Model. Enter the Contract Number Oranga Tamariki provided you with. Then click Save.

Adding a Contract Service
Once you have added a Contract Number, you will be able to add the Contract Service associated with it.
Click on + Add.
In most instances, the information needed for this section will have been sent to you in an Excel spreadsheet from Oranga Tamariki. We have tried to keep the fields in the same layout.
1 - Contract Number - select this from the dropdown list. If the one you are after is not listed. You will need to add it in at the Manage Contacts stage.
2 - Service Type - This will always be SHARCAR when coming form Oranga Tamariki except in very few instances.
3 - Service - This will always be Primary Care.
4 - Service Code - Select the Service Code listed on the Excel Spreadsheet.
5 - Target Region - Oranga Tamariki will always have the code SDU at the end of a region. Type this into the Target Region field and the regions you have in Webcare with this code will be listed. Select the one for this Contract Service.
6 - Contract Start Date - Enter the Start Date as stated on the Excel Spreadsheet from OT.
7 - Contract End Date - Enter the End Date as stated on the Excel Spreadsheet from OT.
8 - Rate Description - This needs to be exactly the same as written on the Excel Spreadsheet sent to you from OT. We advise Copy and Pasting the text line directly from Excel into this Rate Description field.
9 - Service Description - Like the Rate Description, this also needs to be exactly the same as written on the Excel Spreadsheet sent to you from OT. We advise Copy and Pasting the text line directly from Excel into this Service Description field.
10 - Save - Once all the information has been added, click Save. A client can now be linked to this Contract Service. Find out how in the Help file: Manage Tamariki Services (OT)
